Frank was born in the East end of Glasgow and has resided in numerous locations throughout England before finally settling in Retford.
Biography
The oldest son of a bread salesman Frank served as an apprentice at a shipwright on the river Clyde (the same shipyard as Billy Connolly).
Military Service
Frank enlisted at the age of 17 years in the Royal Marine Reserves. By the age of 18 years, he was a qualified parachutist and a green beret member of the Royal Marine Commandos.
